1. Our role
Tilt App is a loan-matching service, not a lender. We do not make loans or credit decisions, and we do not set rates, fees or terms. When you submit a request, we share it with lenders in our network, who decide whether to make you an offer.
TiltApp is not a lender. We share the information you submit with lenders and lending partners in our network, who may contact you about loan offers
TiltApp may receive compensation from lenders and partners when you’re matched with an offer or accept one. This compensation does not change the rate or terms you’re offered
2. No guarantee of an offer
Submitting a request does not guarantee that you will receive an offer or be approved for a loan. Lenders may offer an amount different from the one you requested. Not all lenders can offer the maximum amount advertised.
3. Rates, fees and terms
APR range: 5.99%–35.99%. Repayment terms: 3 to 60 months. Representative example: a $2,000 loan with a 24.99% APR repaid over 24 months would have a monthly payment of about $106.39 and a total repayment of about $2,553.36. Your actual rate, term and payment depend on the lender and your creditworthiness.
Your actual rate, fees and terms depend on the lender and on factors such as your credit profile, income, loan amount, term and state. The lender will provide the APR, finance charge, amount financed and total of payments before you sign. Review all terms before you accept an offer. See rates and terms.
4. Credit checks
Checking your rate through TiltApp does not affect your credit score. If you accept an offer, the lender will typically run a hard credit inquiry before funding, which may affect your score
If you continue with a lender, the lender may obtain your credit report, which may affect your credit score.
5. Funding
As soon as the next business day after you’re approved, though exact timing depends on your lender and your bank
Funding times depend on the lender and your bank and are not guaranteed.
6. Late payment and non-payment
If you accept a loan, the consequences of late payment or non-payment are set by your lender and your loan agreement. They may include late fees, collection activity and reporting to the credit bureaus, which can affect your credit score. Read your loan agreement carefully and contact your lender if you expect to miss a payment.
7. Renewal policies
TiltApp does not offer, renew or roll over loans. If your lender offers renewal, extension or refinancing, the terms and any added cost will be disclosed in your loan agreement
Any renewal or refinancing terms are set by the lender and described in your loan agreement.
8. State availability
TiltApp’s service is available in most U.S. states
Our service is not available in every state, and lenders in our network may not serve every state. Available amounts and terms can vary by state. Check state availability.
9. Active-duty servicemembers
The Military Lending Act provides protections for active-duty servicemembers and their dependents, including a 36% cap on the military annual percentage rate (MAPR) for many types of credit. the Military Lending Act caps the MAPR at 36% and provides other protections for Covered Borrowers. Lenders in our network that extend consumer credit comply with the MLA for active-duty service members, their spouses and certain dependents
10. Equal credit opportunity
The federal Equal Credit Opportunity Act prohibits creditors from discriminating against credit applicants on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, marital status or age (provided the applicant has the capacity to contract); because all or part of the applicant's income derives from any public assistance program; or because the applicant has in good faith exercised any right under the Consumer Credit Protection Act. Lenders in our network are responsible for complying with this law.
11. Licensing
TiltApp is a loan-matching service, not a lender, and does not make credit decisions. Our lending partners are licensed, or exempt from licensing, in the states where they operate
